Our Process: From Farm to Flavor – The Prime Spices Way
At Prime Spices, we follow a meticulous and standardized process to ensure that only the finest quality dry red
chillies reach our customers. Here’s a detailed look at each stage of our operation:

Procuring the Finest Chillies at Byadagi APMC Yard:-

We begin our journey in the Byadagi APMC Yard, renowned as the second-largest chilli market in India.
With deep knowledge and years of experience, our procurement team carefully selects premium -quality dry red chillies that meet our strict standards. We prioritize chillies with uniform size, vibrant color, and ideal moisture content — key attributes for achieving bold flavor and longer shelf life.

Primary Sun-dry Process:-

Once premium dry red chillies are purchased from the Byadagi APMC market, they are transported to our Prime Processing Yard, the chillies are first subjected to additional sun drying, allowing us to fine-tune the moisture content to ideal levels. Maintaining the correct moisture ensures long shelf life, prevents microbial activity, and enhances grinding efficiency. Next, the chillies are evenly mixed and homogenized — a process that blends crops from different regions to maintain consistent quality and flavor across batches. This process is
important for achieving customer-specific standards in terms of color, pungency, size, and safety. Ultimately, this controlled environment helps preserve the original aroma and vibrancy of the chillies, while also making them suitable for longer storage and premium packaging.

Destemming – Clean & Customer-Preferred:-

Once procured, the chillies undergo destemming, a crucial process where we remove the stems manually or mechanically based on customer demand. This step enhances the quality and uniformity of the chillies, making them ideal for processing and export. It also reflects our dedication to customization and cleanliness.

Grading – Sorting Quality with Precision:-

Grading is where quality is defined. Chillies are sorted based on size, color, and overall appearance. This ensures uniformity and allows us to serve different market needs — whether it’s for powder production, flakes, or direct sale. Each grade is packed separately, maintaining consistent quality standards across all batches.

Packing – Safe & Standardized:-

After grading, the chillies are packed into high-quality gunny bags, each carefully weighed to maintain ideal and consistent weights. This method ensures protection during handling and transportation while maintaining the natural aroma and color of the chillies.

Cold Storage – Aroma Locked, Quality Preserved:-

We store our packed chillies in state-of-the-art cold storage units where the temperature is maintained at a precise 6°C to 7°C. This helps in retaining the rich red color, natural oils, and pungency of the chillies. It also extends shelf life and prevents degradation due to humidity or heat.

Logistics – Delivery with Care:-

Finally, our logistics team ensures timely and secure transportation of chillies across India and beyond. With trusted partners and streamlined coordination, we guarantee that our products reach our customers fresh, aromatic, and uncompromised in quality — every single time.
