KDL (Byadgi) – Known for its vibrant red color and wrinkled skin very low pungency,
ideal for color extraction and masala blends.
Syngenta 2043 – Hybrid chillies with consistent quality, moderate pungency and very
bright and shiny skin
Syngenta 5531 – Hybrid chillies with very high pungency, and high oil content.
DD Chillies – High-color variety, commonly used for both powder and flakes.
Rallies Chillies – Balanced in color and pungency, ideal for multi-purpose use.
Super 10 – Medium heat level with rich aroma; great for local markets and powdering.
Indo-5 / Endo-5 – High pungency and deep red color; popular in both domestic and
export markets.
Sannam 334 – One of the most exported varieties; bold flavor, sharp heat, and robust
size.
341 Chillies – Similar to Sannam with slight differences in size and pungency.
Teja – Extremely hot and spicy; small, shiny skin, and widely used in pickles and
powders for heat intensity
